Complete refinery 117000 barrel per day oil refinery for sale. Plant consists of the following process units:
CDU
The Crude Distillation Unit was built from 1966 and was originally designed by Badger Engineering. Major upgrades include debottlenecking from original 60 kbpd to 117kbpd achieved over the years through the addition of furnace ID & FD fan, pump upgrades and exchanger and pipework upgrades. DCS controls were retrofitted in 1997 along with advanced control applications. A low NOx project for the furnace was engineered and equipment bought in 2008 but never installed – all currently held in storage.
HDS
The Hydrodesulfurization unit was originally designed by Foster Wheeler in 1990 as a 40tph catalytic dewaxer. It was converted in 1996 to a 125tph HDS unit to produce 50ppm diesel, design by Fluor Daniel. Since then the unit has been progressively debottlenecked to 165tph producing 10ppm diesel, achieved through an uprated vacuum drier installed in 2006.
Sulferox
This unit dates from 1996,
Merox
This unit dates from 1969. The technology is designed to remove mercaptan sulphur.
LPG Recovery
This unit dates from 1985.
